报告简介:

 Detecting community structure is a crucial step for interpreting complex networks. Although many community detection algorithms have been proposed, most of them focus on separated communities, where each node can belong to only one community. However, in practice, communities are often overlapped with each other. For example, on a social website, one user may belong to multiple interest groups; in the brain network, a region may be part of several structural or functional modules. Developing efficient overlapping community detection algorithms thus becomes necessary. Along this avenue, this lecture will review some of the state-of-the-art overlapping community detection algorithms and introduce a new one, namely the maximal clique based multiobjective evolutionary algorithm (MCMOEA). To illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the new algorithm, experiments on both synthetic and real-world networks are performed.

林盈,女,太阳成集团tyc151cc讲师,硕士生导师。太阳集团官网计算机科学系理学士(2007)。太阳集团官网计算机应用技术方向博士(2012)。研究领域:进化计算及其在脑科学中的应用。主持国家自然科学基金项目一项。在IEEE Transactions系列期刊等国内外学术刊物和国际学术会议上发表论文20余篇。
