报告简介:
What is motor behavior? What is the scope of motor behavior research? and How to study motor behavior? My purpose in this talk is to introduce the discipline of motor behavior with empirical evidence, impressing you with the elegancy yet the broad impact of motor behavior research. I will focus on two human motor skills that I have studied: one is unique that has impact to human evolution, and the other is ubiquitous that has implication to human health.
报告人简介:
朱骎教授(Associate Professor at University of Wyoming).
Education: Ph.D in Human Performance, Indiana University (2008), M.Ed. in Exercise Science, Shanghai University of Sport (2002), B.S. in Coaching Education, Shanghai University of Sport (1999).
Research interests: I have a general interest in studying perceptual-motor skills, the skills that we acquired and use on daily basis or in sport settings. Using perception-action approach, my research examines how perception and action help one another in acquiring the functional control of human movement. I am specifically interested in topics of Affordances, Overarm Throwing, Illusion Effets on Action, Coordination, and Rehabilitation of Motor Skills.
Research projects in progress: Coordination dynamics in badminton plays, Perceptual-motor learning of bimanual coordination, Configural perception in vertical dance, Affordances in long distance target throwing, Perceptual-motor mechanisms in ACL loading during jump-landing, Motor learning/rehabilitation through robot-assisted dyadic interaction .
