报告简介：

One of the essential functions of the visual system is to recognize objects even when object information is widely separated in space, as revealed by the well-known Kanizsa-type illusory contours (见系徽). Whereas such large-range visual completion has long been thought to be a pre-attentive process, this talk will present two psychophysical studies of the lab which reveal both bottom-up and top-down attentional influences on perceiving Kanizsa-type illusory contours. The findings are discussed regarding attentional requirements of Kanizsa-type illusory contour perception.

 

报告人简介：

吴祥，太阳成集团tyc151cc教授，博士生导师。安徽医科大学临床医学系学士（1996-2001）；中国科学技术大学生物学系博士（2001-2007）；美国明尼苏达大学神经病学系博士后(2007-2011); 2012-至今在太阳成集团tyc151cc工作。研究兴趣为意识与冲突控制。研究方法包括心理物理，脑电，和磁共振成像。研究成果发表在Neuroimage, PNAS, Human Brain Mapping, Scientific Reports, Journal of Vison等学术杂志。
