报告简介：

Individual’s pain experiences can be communicated both verbally and non-verbally. Facial expressions are a primary non-verbal channel of pain communication, and so need to be clearly and unambiguously recognised and differentiated from other non-noxious emotional expressions. It is known that we are able to identify others’ pain from their facial expressions. However, little is known about how facial expressions are processed by observers, and what information is actually used, to make the identification of pain possible. To account for this, a series of studies were conducted to investigate possible mechanisms that underpin the decoding of pain expressions from the perspective of perceptual information analysis.

王珊博士，英国牛津布鲁克斯大学博士后，博士毕业于英国巴斯大学。主要研究方向包括疼痛表情的加工与识别，以及运动认知的发展。
