题目：Resting-State fMRI: Methodology and Application

报告简介：

Resting-state fMRI (R-fMRI), without relying on any specific task, can detect spontaneous or intrinsic brain activity, which may reflect individuals’ chronic characteristics. Given this，R-fMRI is a potential sensitive technique to studying brain functional characters that relate to stable individual traits and brain disorders. In this talk, we will introduce two studies that apply R-fMRI to above question. Regarding stable individual trait, we examined stable associations between brain regions and loneliness based on amplitudes of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) across the whole brain. We found that loneliness was positively related to ALFF value within the inferior temporal gyrus (ITG). As for brain disorders, we investigated the potential biomarker of hand-motor recovery after stroke based on whole-brain functional connectivity (FC) seeded from supplementary motor area (SMA). We found significant group difference (good recovered patients vs. good recovered patients) in FC to several brain regions (e.g., superior temporal cortex), suggesting the role of the FC in predicting hand-motor recovery.

代政嘉，女，太阳成集团tyc151cc百人计划引进副教授，硕士生导师。研究方向为基于多模态神经影像的脑网络方法学及其应用研究。目前主持国家自然科学基金和广东省自然科学基金各一项，并获得广东省第七届哲学社会科学优秀成果奖三等奖。近五年来在本领域国际期刊发表SCI论文25篇（影响因子大于5的11篇），SCI他引380余次。
